This 20' straight sync cord provides the necessary connection between any power pack or monolight with a 1/4" thick Phono Plug receptor, and a camera, or triggering device that has a Female PC (post connection) terminal.
Straight cords are lighter, and usually more economical than coiled cords; coiled cords stretch when necessary, and are more heavy duty than straight cords.
Premium sync cords have gold-plated ends, for longer lasting sure connections.
This cord will function with Profoto, Speedotron, SP Excalibur, Norman, Hensel flash units.

When the Male PC to Male Phono cord that came with my Speedotron kit stopped working, I needed a new one fast. This one did the trick!

This cord is so great! I was so excited when I got it in because I finally got to start working with the strobes in my school's studio. Yes I am just starting out in the world of photography but I will tell you this I love this cord.

When I started using this as a replacement sync cord with my Norman power pack, I thought it was a pretty decent stand-in for my old heavier-duty cord. And it works just fine. The only issue, however, is that the pc connector does not seem to want to fit my safe sync very well, falling out several times per shoot. Not only does it create a stuttering, start-and-stop work flow, but gets more than a few raised eyebrows from posing clients and models.
