Unusual Packaging
The generic packaging says "1.5 Volt". I'm guessing someone bought Duracell batteries in bulk, and packaged them individually. Expiration date is 40 months out, so I'm satisfied.

Depend on Duracell, Time to RECHARGE

I had Duracell in one of those tape recorders I left in storage while I was in the Marine Corps. I came home and there was still life in it. Having grown up in the day of the leaky old battery, I was thankful it did not leak, and amazed it could store energy for about 4 years. Good stuff for those days. TODAY, Duracell has better batteries. Buy once, recharge, stop filling landfills with old alkaline batteries. Faster than going to the store, get the Duracell chargeable AA's and look for a chargeable 9 Volt too. We need to reduce our contribution to land fills. This battery will serve you well in an emergency, but better yet, go with chargeable and be ready for the long haul. THANKs Duracell!

I bought a few of these from B&H at [$] a pop, a lot cheaper than any local store I know of. The battery was Duracell but the packaging was generic. Now my Rode video mics have lots of backup power!
