Gitzo G-1377M Magnesium Center Ballhead #3 with Independent Panning Lock - Supports 17.50 lb (8 kg)
A ballhead with seperate friction control, exquisitely exact finish and great weight support for its size, the 1377M is both practical and superior. It has an independent pan bed, broad circular camera platform and reversible mounting screw to accomodate both 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 cameras. All controls are coated in rubber, giving a sure, soft touch. This head can also be used with the optional 1387 Dovetail Adapter which converts this to a quick release which is compatible with Arca-Swiss type quick release plates.
