I take sports, animals, flowers, prom and now getting ready for graduation phots.
When fully charged it works great, only trouble is if I don't let it run down all the way before recharging.
I ordered a new battery because I thought my old one was not taking a full charge. Guess what the old one is still going, so I gave my daughter my D1 to use with that battery & I took the new battery. Both batteries are still working without an additional charge so far.
I think it does better if you leave the camera on instead of turning it off and on.
If the battery is all the way ran down it does take at least 3 hrs to recharge, but the charge will last longer also.

I used this battery for all kinds of photography, from weddings to scenics etc. It performed very well and kept a charge for a long period of time. It is a little heavy and pricy compared to some of the newer batteries but no choice and yes I would buy this product again.

The 'ole D1 was getting a little flaky, not happy with exposures, shot an occasional "pink frame" didn't like talking to the flash...
I wondererd if it all come down to a voltage (battery) issue.
In short the new battery has restored my D1 to the 'ole reliable it once was.

These batteries are too expensive. And they do not work very long at all. Sometimes it says they are full, then 15 minutes later, they are 1/2 full. You are better off saving your money and buying a new camera.

I am a professional photographer and have tried off brand batteries in my D1X with problems in battery charge duration. The Nikon batteries last the longest in actual usage and charge reliably. I do use many off brand batteries in other electronic devices.
