Comments about Canon Drop-In Filter Holder for 52mm:

I bought a 500mm used and it came with a polarizer but the drop in wasn't included so I had to purchase this. It comes with a clear filter so you don't have to purchase that as well.

Comments about Canon Drop-In Filter Holder for 52mm:

It makes a lot more sense to me to use a glass rather than a gel filter in a $4000US lens. But I wish that I known that the 52mm filter holder COMES with a Canon "Protect" 52mm filter. I assumed that it was just a holder and that I'd have to buy a filter as well. That's what I did, I bought a B&W high end 52mm UV filter and although I'm using it I wonder if it was a waste of money.

Comments about Canon Drop-In Filter Holder for 52mm:

        Good product. Quality made.
I don't know why Canon didn't include this with their 300mm f/2.8 lens. They also should have made provisional space for storing it in the lens carry case.
