The Nikon FH-G1 is designed specifically for scanning slides glass (for microscope) in Coolscan 5000 ED, LS-2000, LS-4000, LS-40, LS-30 and V ED film scanners. Using this holder, you can scan slides glass (for microscope) containing samples of pathological tissue in much the same way you would ordinary mounted film positives.
