I was carrying a flash 2 bodies about 3-4 lens, all very comfortably and it was so easy to reach to what ever it was i need, including filters, and other accessories. Bigger than the F803 but smaller than the F804, but it works perfectly for my needs.

Comments about Domke F-802 Reporter's Satchel Shoulder Bag (Olive Drab):

Use this bag for everyday adventures- anything from pics of the kids at the park to cross country trips. This bag is big enough to fit a full size slr with lens attached and 2 extra lenses in the main compartment but you need the right insert. This bag doesn't come with a padded insert- I found the insert from a Kata DR-467 was perfect, but B&H also sells the Domke one for a relatively low price.
The material is awesome- feels like a bag should. The metal latch does require two hands unless you want to risk pinching skin, but it's definitely super sturdy. Overall this is one of the best bags for just about any type of photographer. It has a subtle look that may not attract unwanted attention.

Comments about Domke F-802 Reporter's Satchel Shoulder Bag (Olive Drab):

I bought this as a present for my brother who is an artist/ photojournalist. He loves this satchel bag as it is very heavy duty and ideal for photographer's that are always out and about. The material is perfect for it's purpose and the interior gives enough room for approximately 2 cameras depending on what kind you have and pockets for accessories or films. It has a professional looking style on it too. And oh, I think the Domke name tag's pretty cool! highly recommended.

Holds what used to be in a daypack plus the camera gear I like to have with me. Fits a Canon 60d, 24-105, 100-400, and large binocular without looking like a camera bag. Would fit a second body, too. One large front pocket holds a small planner, the other pocket holds various small items. Long pocket in the back fits a netbook. Had to purchase a 3-section insert but the price for the bag was reasonable - not too upset about the additional purchase.

Comments about Domke F-802 Reporter's Satchel Shoulder Bag (Olive Drab):

Really considered a Billingham bag considering its reputation and build quality. However, I could not get over how much it looks like a purse or a lady's briefcase. The thing that stood out to me was that the Billingham quality was so high that it would never look broken in and would always look like a brand new purse. Bag is nice because it is big enough to hold a DSLR and a couple of lenses or a couple of rangefinders and a couple of lenses. Could also fit your chargers, and Ipad and then some. Would have been nice if the bag came with a useable insert but given the price difference between the Billingham, you could buy 2 different Domke bags and inserts and still be well under the price of some Billinghams. I opted for the Tenba insert that is also sold by BH Photo for about $20. It is high quality and fits snugly as if it were made for the bag. Gear feels very well protected. I think this bag will look better after a couple of years. As others have stated, the metal clasps are cool and retro but not the easiest to fuddle with in the field.

I use this bag to carry my camera and two lenses for short, around town trips. Great product, sturdy construction, will hold a large DSLR and two lenses, plus lots of extra posckets for smaller things. This particular product has no inside dividers, but there are no unpleasant surprises with Domke products. In my experience, consistently good quality throughout their line of bags.

Comments about Domke F-802 Reporter's Satchel Shoulder Bag (Olive Drab):

This bag works extremely well as a briefcase. The main compartment is just the right size for some papers, a book, etc. It would certainly hold a moderately sized SLR w/short zoom, and Domke sells padded inserts for this.

The two pockets built into the flap will hold a few small items like pens and an iPod. The two pockets under the flap are very roomy - no problem carrying a water bottle, an apple, a compact folding umbrella, a Canon G11, and more.

Because the flap has a rounded shape and is fastened in the center, it's fairly easy to get at the contents of those pockets without unfastening the flap. However, because they have their own flaps that close with Velcro, things more or less stay put.

The traditional Domke clip fastener on the flap is hard to work with one hand. I spent a few minutes with a pair of pliers and removed it from the strap, replacing it with an S-biner (size 3) which stays attached to the strap, is easy to clip on and off the D-ring, and since it's black, doesn't look out of place.

The shoulder strap has rubber threads in it, very grippy. The carry handle at the top of the bag is just a bit tight, but it softens up with time.

Construction and materials are just what you'd expect from Domke: solid. Design is straightforward and inconspicuous - no logos visible.

Just what I needed. It fits all my essential gear and then some. In the main compartment I have two inserts, the FA-220 and the FA-210. The FA-220 fits my 70-200/ƒ2.8 and my flash with diffuser and the FA-210 fits my a700+VG with my 18-200/ƒ3.5-6.3 on top of it. In the sleeve in front of the main compartment I can fit my 13.5 inch MacBook, but un-padded and a little tight. In the big front pockets I can get the charger for my laptop plus two external hard drives, a card reader and all the wires in one pocket. Leaving the other for things like my air blower and filters. Whatever else I need goes in the zipper pockets on the flap, they're perfect for things like wallets, keys and the all important business cards.
