Comments about Domke F-803 Camera Satchel Shoulder Bag (Olive Drab):
In my Opinion, the F-803 is the perfect Leica M bag. I use it for 1 or 2 bodies and 2 or 3 lenses.
Plenty of room for film etc. Low profile rugged messenger. Out-performs Billingham, Crumpler, MClassic etc. IMHO (and in 40 plus shooting years, I've tried em all). Get one and never look back!!

Used primarily for travel. Plain, unassuming yet holds my small laptop, power cord, travel docs, magazines and more.

Comments about Domke F-803 Camera Satchel Shoulder Bag (Olive Drab):
I specifically bought this bag for my new Leica M9, which I normally carry around with a 50mm Summicron-M f/2 attached and the 28mm Summicron-M f/2 nearby. First the positive: in terms of size and portability, this bag is perfect for this photography equipment and no one out there would imagine that you are carrying some high-value Leica gear inside. It is so light that you pretty much don't even notice you are carrying a bag even after 4-5 hours of street photography shooting (which is what I do regularly). Easy to get into the main compartment and very easy to access the external two pouches where I normally keep my miscellaneous equipment like a light meter, a grey card, and a wallet.
But you will notice that I only gave the bag 4 out of 5 starts, and here are the reasons for this. For starters, the bag is delivered with a single padded insert where you can keep your extra lens, but at the expense of having to place your valuable Leica with the attached lens on the non-padded portion of the bag. Why they didn't include the 3-section padded insert that they sell separately is beyond me. Moreover, the included padded insert and the ones you buy extra are simply of very poor quality. When I received my 2-section additional insert, I could see the foam coming out of the bottom ends of the pads. In today's competitive world, I find it hard to believe that Domke is choosing to compete for future customers with cheap components. So, in general I would say that I do like this bag a lot and use it as my primary bag (because of size and portability) when I hit the street, but would like to see Domke step up with better inserts to protect our valuable gear. If they don't, then I'm sure that I will find myself taking another look at the Billingham line of bags, which I'm sad to say leaves Domke in the dust when it comes to protection of your photographic investment.

I am a photojournalist and this bag is inconspicuous and holds my 5D MKII with 20mm, 35mm and 50mm lens and additional Olympus LS-10 digital voice recorder. I feel comfortable with walking in the streets.
The bag is it doesn't look like a camera bag.
It's very discrete and is slim so you can negotiate crowds without bumping into people.
The two zip pockets on top: used for my id, memory cards, money and keys. The back open pocket, expands enough. Had my cellphone in it, small notebook and pen.The front pockets used for my ThinkTank rain cover, samsung hard drive, 5D MKII extra battery, another notebook and pen.

Comments about Domke F-803 Camera Satchel Shoulder Bag (Olive Drab):
I bought this a portable digital media bag. iPad, Kindle, assorted cables, etc. For this purpose, it's more than adequate with just enough room for my stuff when going out. As long-time Domke user, I knew pretty-much what to expect with this and wasn't disappointed.
As a full SLR camera bag, this would be tight, even though the supplied separator makes for some decent internal compartments. About the only way I could haul a full-size camera and lenses in this thing would be to take the lens off the body.
But that's not why I bought it! I have other bags for cameras.

I wanted a bag I could throw over my shoulder and carry my D700 and one of my 2.8 lens in. This is perfect!!! It also has two pouches on the front of the bag that will hold extra battteries or an off camera flash.

Comments about Domke F-803 Camera Satchel Shoulder Bag (Olive Drab):
This bag is made really well, it's tough but not obvious as a camera bag. It's also compact - I can fit a flash, sound recorder and CF cards, etc. plus just barely squeeze in my Canon 1D with 16-35mm lens attached (but it would be nice if it was just a little larger to fit pro bodies in easier).
Comments about Domke F-803 Camera Satchel Shoulder Bag (Olive Drab):
I love this bag. It is simple, doesn't look like a camera bag which makes it awesome for street photography, and I can remove the insert and use it as a general purpose satchel to carry my work documents as well. And I love the little detail of having rubber lining within the shoulder strap. Brilliant. My only beef with it is that the olive color costs more than the others. I guess you pay more for style?oh, and I'm not a fan of the metal clip. There should also be velcro.
