Bescor VS-100 On-Camera Light with Twin Leaf Vertical Barndoors and Soft Diffuser - 100W 12V DC
This light is compact, with vertical barndoors. It comes with a DC lamp and has a standard shoe adapter. The lamp protecter is diffused for a soft effect and the head tilts for a ceiling bounce if needed.

Light did a wonderful job of lighting up a dance floor that was not well lit for a wedding.
The only trade off was a 100 watt light consumes a lot of juice. Otherwise it was worth it.
Also the elevation of the light was adjustable to eliminate the shadow from the camera microphone.

Ordered 3 of these to get in Luxmen lights with Bescor stickers. Was informed that Luxmen makes all Bescor lights. Bescor confirmed this. They buy cheaply made products from foreign companies and don't even take the time to stamp their name on the product or anything else for that matter. Light is nice for a paper weight because in real use not only the casing but also the wire overheats. Very cheap design and quality. Eats batteries like nothing. Good luck changing the bulbs as the pin holes for the bulb are not to where you can easily change the bulb in a crunch.

This light adds the perfect amount of light for HD videography. I like the design of the mount that is easy to tighten on the shoe and prevents it from slipping off, unlike several cheaper versions. I would recommend buying several batteries if your going to use the stock bulb that comes with the unit as it kills the batteries VERY quickly. I would also recommend a fast charging charger so you can have a battery on the charge. If your not shooting in HD, I would downsize the bulb to a 50 watt that is easily found at your local [...] for just a few bucks. This would save your battery life more than you could imagine. All-in-all, this is a very well made light that I personally recommend for anybody that's on a budget or not on a budget. It out performs lights that I have paid ten times the price.
