Constructed from die cast alloy, the Superpod tripod is designed to provide extremely stable support for studio and OB cameras equipped with long lenses, large viewfinders and teleprompters.
The Superpod available in a single-stage or a two-stage version, is fitted with two rotary clamping mechanisms and features 25mm diameter tubes, they perform unsurpassed torsional rigidity and structural integrity, while the locking knobs, which include over tightening protection, ensures maximum clamping efficiency maintained over the tripods lifetime.
Features a Mitchell Flat Base or a 150 mm bowl and interfaces with a heavy-duty spreader or dolly. Ideal for Lambda and Omega fluid heads, the Superpod tripod provides for a payload of up to 440 lbs.

Use this with the Intel-A-Jib and the tripod is bombproof. Not a lightweight by any measure, but a real workhorse. One of, if not the, strongest tripods on the market.

We use the product for a Jony Jib. we think it is heavy duty and does a good Job. However it did not come in a bag which is really bad. That makes it difficult to move around. I suggest that this be looked into. A bag would help to keep it in good condition and make transportation easy
