The Pipeline-Digital ProVTR 6.5 Device Control Plug-In is a deck control plug-in for Adobe Premiere, used on the Mac platform. It is compatible with a PowerPC Mac, OS 8 or better, and OS-X 10.1 or better. ProVTR and the Pipeline cable let you control video tape recorders and stamp time code with your QuickTime or AVI clips. Combined with Adobe Premiere, you can have the best deck control in the business.

By selecting ProVTR as your device controller, you will have control of your VTR from Premiere's Movie Capture window. Time code is automatically stamped on your captured clips. When you are finished with your project, you can export the movie back to tape with complete deck control, as with a traditional analog editor. This package includes the CM9 Mini-DIN 8-Pin to RS-422 Deck Control Cable, which allows you to connect from a legacy Mini-DIN 8-Pin connector found on older Mac computers to the RS-422 socket of a deck. The RS-422 9-pin Female to LANC Adapter Cable is the adapter cable that connects between the standard Pipeline Digital RS-422 cable and a VTR deck with Control L (LANC).
