M-Audio's MIDISPORT 2x2, is a 2 x 2, 32-channel I/O MIDI interface for both the Mac and PC platform that is extremely portable and powered from the USB bus of the host computer. The MIDISPORT 2x2 is perfect for connecting multiple MIDI devices both together, and to a computer. Since it is powered by the USB port, the MIDISPORT 2x2 is an excellent choice for both studio and portable use.
- "MIDI Thru" pushbutton allows the unit to function even if the computer is not on - no disconnecting cables. In this case Port A and Port B pass through directly to their respective outputs

This product works well, no delay, i was very happy when i had it, but it works well when you install the drivers which is not included with the product,which is an optional download.

USB cable was faulty would not even plug into a USB port.
Midisport starts to send random midi notes after five minutes of use.
