I use two of these cables to connect the RCA outputs of my DJ mixer to the 1/4" inputs on my Behringer powered speakers. There is little noise in the line, and the signal is clear and crisp at high and low levels.

This cable did exactly what I needed it to do: convert the signal from a quarter-inch jack into a RCA-composite compatible feed. There was no loss in sound quality and the sound was as expected. The cable is sturdy and durable enough for my needs, but as with any cable, I would avoid rough treatment.

This cable is not something that you would you use on every piece of gear but when you need it you'll be glad you have one. I use it to connect my studio monitors to my recorder (which only has RCA outputs). The connector quality is is extremely well made. Far better than I expected for the price. Highly recommended.
