Locking arm is very stiff and does not lock the motions securely. Even locked as tightly as possible the mount will slip without much pressure.

I use this mount with a Bushnell Legend spotting scope and they are a perfect match. The mount provides a sturdy and stable base for the scope, and allows me to get close to some birds by using the car as a blind. Highly recommended!
