Allen Avionics HEC-2000H Video Hum Eliminator, Video Noise and Hum Eliminator, One I/O, 75 ohms, Metal Housing
Hum eliminators work best when interference causes small differences in ground potential (less than 20 VDC) or long cable runs have induced currents. HEC series units also work well when there are multiple power panels in a building that create differences in ground potential which induce ground loop current flow and 60 Hz hum.
- Reduces Electromechanically Induced Hum
- The 2000 series of hum eliminators increase the attenuation at the power frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz) when induced currents are high, therefore reducing hum.
- Two Units Can be Used in Series
- When a small amount of hum remains after one HEC has been installed, another unit can be added without significant signal degradation.
- Designed for Rack Mount Use
- Using optional equipment the "H" model is designed for rack mount use featuring 1/4" stainless steel guard rails and connector covers.

We got this only 3 weeks back but and we did 2 huge live events during consecutive weekends. This box simply saved our lives. We sent cables from our OB truck to Video wall on Stage and found we have no video at the cable end in comes the little blue box in the middle crystal clear video coming out like magic.
The design is real good very portable rugged with cable guards and connecter Caps on small chains so you can protect the BNC connectors from Dust and you want loose caps either.
