The ASD-171p is an A to D convertor (Encoder); it takes an analog component signal and converts to SDI (Serial Digital Interface). This device has the ability to accept multi-television standards and three different component signals.
- Automatic Standard Detection
- This unit automatically detects the input standard; NTSC or PAL.
- Signal Selection
- The user can select Beta 0: For 0 IRE YUV sources, Beta 7.5: For 7.5 IRE YUV sources, and SMPTE: For SMPTE/EBU sources.
- LED Indicator
- Two LED's are available for input error status.
- Compact Size
- Measuring 4" long and 1" wide, this unit will fit in the smallest locations.
- Input Stability
- This device can be switched to input sources from a timed Studio input to a non-TBC VTR input.
