The Roland LS-2 Line Selector/Power Supply is an extremely useful pedal for any instrumentalist who deals with more than one amp or effect rack. Inputs and outputs are provided for two signal paths; you can switch between them with the foot pedal. You can also use one path as a mute or bypass setting. Additionally, there is an extra power output for powering an effects chain, streamlining your cable runs.
Ruggedly built like all Roland pedals, the LS-2 provides a variety of ways for you to route your signal, and allows you to switch signal paths quickly and easily.
- Two Signal Loops
- Rather than lining all your effects up in one long signal chain, the LS-2 lets you divide them into two distinct chains. You can isolate a noisy effect except when you want to use it; you can avoid effect combinations you'll never use; use one chain as a bypass or mute setting; or simply keep the active effect chain as short as possible, for better signal clarity. This is a very versatile pedal.
- Multiple Operation Modes
- In addition to switching between chains, you can also combine the chains in one setting, and use the other setting as a mute. There are six operational modes to choose from.
- Power Supply
- In addition to managing your signal path, the LS-2 features a power jack that allows you to power an effect unit while using AC to power the LS-2.
