Comments about Hakuba Mono Pod 10 (Titanium Grey):

I tried this as a tabletop tripod and figured I might use it as a monopod or boom. It is impossible to level when functioning as a tripod and when extended as a monopod it does not lock in position meaning if you aren't holding the top section you risk disaster.[...]

Comments about Hakuba Mono Pod 10 (Titanium Grey):

Cute. Easily carried -- in pocket even. Useful for lightweight cameras. However poor long-term durability. Ball gets loose. Then thread to tighten gets stripped. Not good for heavy gear. Stability only fair. Also leg-section in/out is physically difficult chore -- especially back in. Method is spring-pins into leg holes. Built-in wings help for not only table-top tripod conversion, but also as verticle support (wall, banister) when monopod. Definitely don't use for more than pocket camera.

This was a gift for a family member suffering with mild Parkinsons. He is extremely grateful for the assist in steadying his hands when he takes the occasional photograph.
