Comments about Hakuba HCS25 Ball Socket Shoe:
I bought two of these for use with SB900s. On both units the screws that hold the metal mounting slide pulled out on the first use. Not robust enough. An easy way to drop your flash from a fatal height.

this is perfect for clamping my on-camera light (runs off an extra camera battery) to any tripod or light stand so that i can move it around the room for interviews on the road.

Comments about Hakuba HCS25 Ball Socket Shoe:
This product is especially useful when composing macro shots. My SB600 was way too heavy for this piece but could be used with a smaller flash. It is not very strong and is prone to break easily.
