The Altman 175Q 1000 Watt Fresnel with screw-feed focus is a lightweight, long throw, all purpose lighting fixture. This 8" Fresnel produces a soft edged beam which varies in diameter from 6.3 - 25' at a throw distance of 30'.
The 75Q and 175Q are designed for operation with the long life, high intensity tungsten halogen lamps. They are used in theatre for acting area lighting where beam shaping is not required, or in television studios for key and backlighting. Other uses include nightclubs, museums and show windows where soft edge controlled lighting is required.

We turned the holding bracket upside down and welded a 3" long one and a half Inch Inside Diameter tube to it to fit our Stands. We saved $300 on each!
Works good as long as you don't expect high tolerances and great craftsmanships.
