The Altman 500 Watt Ellipsoidal Spotlight is a compact, lightweight ellipsoidal reflector spotlight with 3.5" front lens which produces a high intensity sharp, or soft edged beam. Four adjustable integral stainless steel framing shutters provide beam shaping ability and the pattern slot and holder provide the ability to project visual images. Primarily designed for theatre and studio applications.
This model provides a beam spread of 38° from the front lens. Its bulb socket is a 2-pin type. Models providing different beam spreads are available.

The light works fine but the plastic wing-nuts are fragile. One broke immediately upon use. Also, I noticed some poor welding near the front, like the housing had been damaged and repaired. I don't think I would buy another one of this model. The light works well outside of these issues. It gets very hot, so watch out after being on for a few minutes.
