The Altman 19° 750 Watt Ellipsoidal Spotlight is compact and lightweight, with 6" front lens which produces a high intensity sharp, or soft edged beam. Four adjustable integral stainless steel framing shutters provide beam shaping ability and the pattern slot and holder provide the ability to project visual images. Primarily designed for theatre and studio applications.
This model has a narrow 19° field beam spread. It can provide a beam of 205 footcandles 10 feet in diameter from 30 feet away.
Its bulb socket is a 2-pin type. Models providing different beam spreads, and models with built-in irises are available. Pipe clamp, plug, and bulb are available separately.
- This ellipsoidal is also useful in displays, show windows, museums and nightclubs where precision controlled accenting is desirable.
- The reflector has over 700 mirror polished surfaces which optimize the optical system for greater light output and a sharper, more controlled focus.
- Aluminum die-cast and sheet metal construction.
- Included pipe clamp will mount to 3/4 - 1-1/2" diameter pipe.
- Replacement of bulb requires no tools.
- Single focal length models are an economical choice, when compared to zoom ellipsoidals.

Altman makes well constructed lamps. B&H sells them at low cost and it came with the safety cable, clip, and standard 3-prong plug already attached (most places that would be another $15 of add-ons)! I ordered two and are used 30ft off stage to illuminate our pastor. The joke is with the 750w bulbs (bought separately), that he will no longer need to go sun tanning. We also bought the pipe clamps and Bogen gels from B&H too. Definately worth it.
