I work for BOYNE Resorts and we are using the lights for in-room lodging photos for our website. So far we have had many problems with our lights. After a few uses it started to burn out our lights. We would put a brand new light in and then it would burn out in minutes. I called the manufacturing company and we got a new cord and socket set, we put it in and it seems to be working fine, but now our other light is doing the same thing. We have wasted so many brand new bulbs. We are very disappointed with the product and are upset we have spent the money on then and all of the lights we have to keep replacing. I will not recommend these lights.

Good inexpensive lamps. They really do a great job for lighting and do not cause color temperature problems during filming.

I was at first mad because I had a light that burnt out after 5 minutes. Some will burn out which is annoying, but unless you are really unlucky some will last for a while and they are really nice when they work. I would rate 3.5 but it made me bump it up to 4.

I am not impressed with this bulb. I had it in a reflector type lamp and within a few hours the bulb burned out. I guess it cannot burn longer than a few hours without overheating. This could be a fluke. I ordered several at once, so I will see how the other bulbs work and post another review.

With a lifetime of roughly 40 days it's hard to gain a good perspective on a product, but I think in this case it's all I need. I estimate actual hours used less than 10. I'll be going with a better bulb next time.

They are bulbs ... and they work. Not sure what else to say. I bought these to use with a Smith-Victor lighting kit. They work just fine and put out plenty of light.
