The Altman 575 Watt Electronic Ballast Kit includes an HMI Fresnel, Electronic Ballast, cable, and filter frame.
The Altman 575SE is a rugged, high-output Fresnel designed for use in the TV/film industry, where an intense and even field with a sharp cutting capability is desired. Utilizing the compact single ended line of metal-halide bulbs (available separately), this fixture delivers excellent daylight quality from a small compact package and is useful in any situation where daylight color balance is required. A separate bulb, and other ballasts are available.
The electronic ballast automatically senses the bulb voltage to set 575W or 400W running.
This 575 watt HMI Fresnel kit throws a 3.1' beam of 278 foot-candles strength at a distance of 30' when set to full spot, and a 24.8' 39 foot-candle beam at 30' when set to full flood. Its "F/S EZ Glide System" allows the tray assembly to flood and spot with ease, and the spring-loaded top latch allows mounting of 5" accessories (scrims, snoots, and 8-leaf barndoor available separately). The included ballast is quiet, accepts multiple voltages, and is flicker-free so that it is ideal for video use.
