    1000L-SM Fresnel Light

    The Altman 1000L-SM Fresnel Light serves as a 500W, 750W, or 1000W key, large backlight, or kicker. This standing light features a clam shell door, a pipe clamp and a 25' cable. The 1000L-SM has a 130mm standard focus lens, safety screen, and fits a standard 5/8" stud. This light accepts all standard 7-3/4" accessories.

    Also available for this unit are 4-leaf or 8-leaf barndoors, a 3-in-1 snoot set, and a full complement of scrims. This light also comes in a hanging mount version (1000L-HM).

    This fixture is equipped for 120 Volt AC operation. It will also function with 220 AC Voltage, with the appropriate bulb and plug adapter, available separately.

    This 4 leaf barndoor set will fit any light head that will accept a 7.75 x 7.75" accessory.

    Barndoors, Snoots, Grids, and Filters are essential accessories for any lighting system. These devices alter the shape, intensity, or color of the light output from your flash heads. Consider them as a painter would a brush, or a sculptor would a knife, or chisel.

    Use of a barndoor set will result in a shaft of light, when it is attached to the front of the reflector of your light source. The size of the shaft of light will be determined by the opening of the leaves, and the distance of the light from the subject. Rotating the barndoor set will determine the angle of the shaft of light.

    Full scrims dim the light across the entire beam spread,
