Altman Foto Pac Lighting Kit
This thoughtful lighting package--the Altman Foto Pac Lighting Kit--gives you two 650L Fresnels able to carry out key, backlight or kicker duties, plus a Soft-Lite Jr fixture--a lightweight, indirect fill-light that provides a soft, even, almost shadowless wash of light. Barndoors, an "eggcrate" for the Soft-Lite Jr, and a variety of scrims are included for modifying and controlling the light, plus three 9' light stands, scrim bags, bulbs, and a hard-shell rolling case for storage and transportation.
- A total lighting kit: 2 650L fresnel lights, the Soft-Lite Jr fill light with an eggcrate controller, barndoors, scrims, stands, bulbs, and a hard rolling case.
- Proline Location and Studio Fresnels offer durability, performance and efficiency. They flood and spot with ease, and have a rib design for strength and ventilation.
- The Softlite Jr. provides soft, indirect light, using a minimum of space.
- Included filter frames, eggrate, barndoors and scrims allow control over shaping, intensity, and color of the lights.
- The 2 included scrim sets feature full and half-single, and full and half-double scrims for selectively diminishing the light output.

The kit has great lighting power quick and easy to setup. Good for out side shoots night, indoor concerts studio shoots and on location. The case is a little heavy and the case is big wich makes it harder to transport but that is the only flaw of this product.

I previously owned an "impact 3 light kit"(w/ the white umbrellas) and grew tired of replacing either the bulbs or the fixtures themselves. SO I decided to set up to this kit and have been a happy camper ever since. The build quality is great. These don't seem near as fragile as sub [$]kits and the bulb life rocks too. Another advantage to this kit is the fact that you can truly control the light. With the white umbrellas on the impact kit it is nearly impossible to direct the light where you want. It's soft and everywhere all the time. With the Foto Pac kit you can really dial it in with the fresnels and still get the soft look with the softlite jr.

- The con is that they do run HOT. So a pair of leather gloves would be a great addition to this kit.

I recently bought this kit and can't even begin to tell you how awesome this kit is. The two 650's are excellent light and the soft light definitely gives me that soft look that I look for. 10 out of 10.
