Photoflex MultiDisc Circular Reflector, 5 Surfaces, 22" (56cm)
This is a Photoflex 22" (56cm), 5 Surfaces MultiDisc collapsible reflector. Photoflex LiteDiscs and MultiDiscs are designed for use in the studio, or on location. They add light to shadow areas, add or subtract color casts, or diffuse harsh light.
LiteDiscs come in a variety of sizes: 12, 22, 32, 42, 52" circular, and 41 x 74" Oval.
MultiDiscs are available in 22, 32 and 42" circular sizes. MultiDiscs start as a White Translucent disc, with a reversible slipcover that provides white, silver, gold and soft gold surfaces.
Pick the size that is right for the size of your subject. Pick the color combination that is right for the ambient light, or your creative direction.
Each MultiDisc has a sturdy spring-steel frame that is covered by a heavy duty white fabric. With a twist of both wrists (and a little practice), they collapse to 1/3 their open sizes. Each comes with a nylon storage bag.
Insure consistency and ease of placement by ordering a LiteDisc Holder. The holder, combined with a light stand, acts as a second pair of hands, locking the disc in the exact desired position. The holder also helps your assistant hold the disc flat and steady, especially in outdoor breezes.

- White Opaque - Produces an even, neutral-colored bounce light that works beautifully as a fill light source for both product shots and indoor/outdoor portraits
- Silver - Silver increases the specular highlights and yields a high-contrast, neutral to cool fill, depending on your main light source
- Gold - Same as silver, but with a warm tone -- best used outdoors near sunrise or sunset
- Soft Gold - Combination of gold and silver in a zebra pattern, with a semi-matte surface -- best for all-round fill
- White Translucent - Softens harsh light sources, may also be used as a reflector
- Black - Subtracts reflected light and color casts from intense backgrounds

The Photoflex MultiDisc 5 in 1 system is a dream to use. Great construction and simple to use. Gives you that extra bump of light needed in so many situations. Folds down into a highly portable disc you can attach to your camera bag. Every photographer should own more than one.

I use this mostly for macros. I'm a beginner photographer, so I don't have any other experiences to compare too. However, it works for me. I like that it is compact and easy to carry. Just the right size for macro work.

This has to be the most useful item in my camera bag. Folded it is small enough to fit my camera bag, open it is large enough for portraits, tabletop and outdoor fill, including macro's.
I can not say anything bad about the product. The quality was much better than expected. Well made

I LOVE the fact that the core is a Difuser as well as serving for the body that the colored reflectors wraps around. The gold, silver and white are all nice surfaces and i especially like the gold/siler combo surface. Provides a nice mix of straight and warm light. built well and "flaps" back from being folded. easy to fold up back into puch as well. a good set for your gear bag.

The 5-in-1 Photoflex reflectors are easy to fold and store in one small space; I can take it anywhere, without hassle. It's a relatively quick switch of the zipper cover to get the right shade I need for my shot.

The quality of this Photoflex disc and covers is excellent, but this combo set is just too big to stick in my bag for carrying around. It folds up to about 9-10" across and 1.5" thick. You can squish it a little flatter but it's still tough to fit in my Crumpler 7 Million.
I can imagine taking this if I'm specifically going to do a portrait, but after I got this I ended up ordering a 12" white/silver reflector and a 12" translucent to stick in my bag for day-to-day use (macro, pets, family etc).

Easy to carry around with you. Folds easily. Good for minor changes in lighting due to small size. Limited due to size, you have to be very close to subject to make a difference, that may interfere with your shot. The product appears to be well made and I liked the difference colors to choose from in one product.

22 inch offers gold, silver, soft gold, and white reflector, as well as a translucent or diffuser. Well constructed, folds up real small and has a carry bag. Just a great product to have around when you need it.

I bought this after doing some research on the net and found this item came highly recommended. I have used it now on one outing shooting flowers and found it worked great for manipulating the light. Great having the 5 in 1 as well to give you more options when shooting.
