The Photoflex Small CineDome Softbox with Silver Interior is designed for use with a Fresnel hotlight up to 500 watts. Fresnel fixtures need more depth for even distribution of light inside the softbox. The depth of the softbox is 30% deeper than a Silverdome.
With fabric intended for the heat of a continuous light, the Large CineDome is ideal for work in larger spaces maximum softening of the light is desired. The 16 x 22" size is ideal for talking-head interviews, or small product setups. Maximum softness will be achieved when the softbox is placed as close to the subject as possible.
The front face of the CineDome can be removed for easy access to the light from the front. It also provides the option of shooting without the front face for an increased output, more specular quality of light.
- Very portable and lightweight. It can be taken on location easily, and is ideal for small location ENG shoots.
- Recessed front helps to control light spill and facilitates the attachment of an optional fabric grid.
- Quick tabs release the four poles through the front of the box, for quick tear-down of the softbox.
- This softbox may be also be used with a strobe with the proper Speed Ring.
- Required Speed (mounting) Rings are available separately for many manufacturers' lights.
