OP/TECH USA FILTER CAP 52mm
The OP/TECH USA FILTER CAP 52mm is designed to fit behind the filter and allows the stacking of filters without having to remove the cap. The additional filters will not cause vignetting. It also provides impact protection to the rim of the filter and lens which is often a common problem amongst avid photographers.

The perfect solution for my slim polarizing filter that won't accept a regular click-in lens cap. The cap that came with the filter is not snug enough, and I was afraid I was going to lose it - enter the Op/Tech filter cap. Keeps my lens clean and protected, and I don't have to worry about losing the cap. Great idea.

I bought this for my Oly 5050Z, and it is great. It is ugly, but it's always there, and one finger opens or closes it. No more lost lens caps, and no more forgetting to put the cap back on.
I just bought a new Canon DSLR, and I missed this cap so much that I am ordering one for the Canon.
It is more difficult to remove a circular polorizer, as it fits between the lens and the filter, but that doesn't matter for the "always there" protection it gives.
Yes, it does feel and look cheap, but I would rather have my lens protected at all times than worry about how ugly it is. When people ask about it, I just show them how handy it is, and they agree that it is a great cap. Once you've used one, you just automatically open or close it without even thinking about it, so your lenses and filters are always protected.

For those of us who have lost one lens cap after another, this thing is great. It opens totally outside your field of view and snaps back shut. Very important for, because it fits between the filter and the lens, it does not get into your picture's field of view on very wide angle shots.

I went to B&H pick up this product. After I saw the actual thing, I decide to get the regular replace lens cap instead. There is no thread on the base ring just a flat plastic circle. The material feels like Chinese take out plastic container Soft and I dont think it will stay in position. Not a strong feeling. I would recommend to check it out before you order it.
Problems Encountered: Just the over all quality and design does not make me believe it's a good product.
