The adjustable, thick foam pad absorbs and distributes the weight while the non-slip lining keeps the equipment from slipping off the shoulder. The quick release buckles allow flexibility for copy stand, tripod or other situations when the strap is not needed. Adjusts to 49" in length. Color: Silver Flames

Comments about Tamrac N-46 Superlight Quick Release Strap (Silver Flame):
I use the strap to carry around my Nikon D2HS, a rather heavy DSLR, with lens. The strap is superb and comfortable to me. I like the quick release features of the strap and the designs also. I own all three of these Tamrac design straps for 3 DSLRs. I am very pleased with the support and comfort of these straps.

Comments about Tamrac N-46 Superlight Quick Release Strap (Silver Flame):
I got this strap to go with my new Nikon D90. Unfortunately I made the mistake of going for looks over substance and paid the price. It is a really sweet looking strap, but the problem is it is uncomfortable in the very place it shouldn't be, the back of your neck. While there is padding on the neck, the edge of the padded area is covered in a rather inflexible border that is hard and rough against your neck. Not a problem in the winter, but now, as we are nearing the clothing peeling season it isn't so nice. I like the quick release feature and the overall construction - it is very solid and built to last, just needs to be a little easier on the neck skin!

Comments about Tamrac N-46 Superlight Quick Release Strap (Silver Flame):
This strap is nice and long for taller people. The shoulder padding slides on the strap to easily swing the camera up to your face. Plus it looks cool.

Comments about Tamrac N-46 Superlight Quick Release Strap (Silver Flame):
I use this N-46 quick release strap with my Nikon D700 camera. I like it best because it distributes the weight of the camera evenly. It is cushioned in a manner where there is no rubbing of the strap around my neck. I would recommend this product to all of the photographers out there who constantly complain about sore necks.

I really like this strap compared to the one from Nikon. My number one requirement was comfort, and this strap wins hands down.

Comments about Tamrac N-46 Superlight Quick Release Strap (Silver Flame):
I have used Tamrac N-46 straps exclusively on my Nikon pro bodies, including D1x, D300 and D3's. Keep the Nikon strap in it's original packaging, because they just don't compete with this strap. I love the sliding pad, and industrial quick-releases.
