Its excellent in its price range. The compact size is ideal when you are traveling. Though difficult to use it at 24x due to vibrations from the hands, up to ~16x it is very good. Low light performance is also nice. I am using it to the fullest for bird watching and glancing at the stars! Obviously if you can afford to buy and carry the weight of a 50mm one, that will be great!!!

These are all I hoped they would be in a travel binocular and more. The zoom is great, clearity is excellent. If you zoom you need to be stable to get a stable image; you would know this if you have experience with camera zoom, gun scopes, or telescopes. It is small, lightweight and comfortable to use, yet clear and powerful. I had to state a problem it is the lens caps are loose; can drop off and get lost easily. I purchased these binoculars specifically for the NHL Winter Classic and they are going to be very helpful. The zoom will help key in on certain players, while the normal view will help get a view of the overall ice rink. We will also use these binoculars for whale watching in Hawaii and viewing the volcanic ash from a distance. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I use these binoculars all the time for everything from hunting to casual birdwatching and veiwing wildlife. I've tried several different brands through the years but I found I like the Travelite V Zoom the best of any because of the clarity through the zoom range. The only thing I've found that takes away from these binoculars is the slight loss of brightness at the top end of the zoom. This is actually the second pair that I have owned. I lost the first in a hunting mishap and had to get another. For the money I believe this is the best binocular on the market, and would buy a third.

Lightweight, so much so that you get worried it may not be durable. But the fact the body has carbon fiber in it is reassuring. Clear and clean optics although there is a significant light loss when at maximum magnification. As others have noted, 24X binoculars are very tough to hand-hold. Braced, they work fine. All in all, I'm pretty happy with my purchase since they are primarily purchsed for travel.

Used these only once so far to see the Padres beat the Mets here in San Diego. These binoc's are of good quality and worth the price. The case is nice as well as it has a belt loop and you do not have to carry them. The lens caps are a joke. They do not fit and fall off right out of the box. Why can't they make these with threads or snaps like a camera cap? If I would have been able to try the zoom before purchase I would not have bought with that feature. Too much shake in zoom mode. Otherise I am pleased with the quality.

Very light and compact. I wear glasses and I find these to be easy and quick to focus. The zoom feature is simpler than I expected. Very clean, crisp viewing.
The only drawback I have found is that the strap to the case is not velcro. That means that you can only attach it to something you can thread thru from one end. Not as versatile as it could be.
Overall, very pleased!
