Comments about Arkay SL5-L 5x7" Filter For The SL-5 Safelight (RED):

I bought a few of these to replace my current amber filters since I was working with some material that required red safelights. The red filters are MUCH brighter than the amber making it easier to work in the darkroom. It was so much brighter with these filters, I was worried about the paper fogging. I ran a few tests on some of my faster papers and it passed with flying colors.

Another plus is that these are plastic and not glass so you have little worry with regards to breaking them.
