General Brand 2x2" Slide Viewer
Omega 2x2" Slide Viewer - This is a small, inexpensive hand-held viewer for both 35mm slides and negatives. It features a removable front screen to accommodate thicker slide mounts. Slip your 2x2 slide into the top loading slot to view or slide your negative strip through the side slot.
The viewer has an "ON/OFF" switch and is powered by 2 "AAA" batteries (not included). It also has a user replaceable lamp (2.2v 0.25A bulb).

I am using the product for Slides that I have and for some negatives I have. It is easy to get the slides and negatives in and out It was a great price. The light isn't the brightest so kinda of hard to see some of the picture clear but it okay for what I want to use it for.

Inexpensive little slide and filmstrip viewer. Does the job on the cheap. Biggest negatives - no magnification of the image and easy to load, but a bit awkward to remove a slide.

I got this to quickly compare the original slide to its digital scan. It certainly is small and convenient. Its illumination, however, is very yellow, which detracted from its usefulness for my purpose. I am mostly using a daylight balanced light panel instead. This viewer would fill the bill more for quick looks at slides. It would work well for handing a slide around for friends to view. I actually found, though, that a little "peep" style viewer was just as handy for my individual use.

I bought it to review negatives of grandkid photos for which I need to make reprints. Sometimes I had trouble getting the negative strip to pull through so I just lay it on the top of the glass which works, too. It is much better than holding the negative up to the light. Size is easy to handle.

I plan on scanning my slides then transferring them to dvds, then pass them on to my children.
I needed a simple way to review and separate them.
This will work perfectly. I think if it had a small attachment that would allow it to stand up instead of lying flat would make it perfect.
