Celestron Watertight Heavy Duty Case - Celestron NexStar 8 Series Telescope or CGE Mount/Pier

The Celestron 302070 Case is an unbreakable, watertight, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof hard transit case made to carry a CGE Mount/Pier or NexStar 8i telescope. . It is made of Ultra High Impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a 1/4" (6.4 mm) neoprene o-ring and ABS latches seal perfectly and includes an automatic purge valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. The case is lined with die cut high-density foam for custom fitting. It features large handles and is equipped with wheels, for easy transportation.

Note! Note: For storing CGE mount and Pier, you must use the foam that comes in original CGE mount packaging.

Purchased to protect my Celestron NexStar 8SE. The construction is strong. The handle for rolling is strong. I am slowing carving the interior foam out right now to provide a secure fit of the scope. It has a pressure valve on it too. I know that when I travel, the scope will be safe inside.
