Celestron Quick Release Finder Bracket for 50mm Finders Upon 8-11" SCTs
A unique bracket for 50mm finderscopes, the Celestron #51149A Quick Release Finder Bracket is designed for 8-11" Schmidt-Cassegrain or Maksutov-Cassegrain telescopes, and has an internal clear diameter of 63mm.
The bracket's rings for the finder are well machined. Six short metal collimation bolts help point your finder where it is supposed to be pointing, and a pair of bolts lock the quick release rings securely upon the mounting shoe. This allows the finder to be quickly removed so your telescope can be stored in its carrying case, and you won't lose your collimation with the main scope.
The bracket includes all necessary mounting hardware. The additional weight of this accessory may require that you use additional optional counterweights so that your telescope retains the proper balance.
