I found this frustrating at first. but then again this is my first time in astrophotography. this is used with a nikon d3100 and a celestron astromaster 130eq and the f mount adapter. there is little to no support documentation for this stuff. just connecting to the scope will not allow focus. what I had to do was insert the 10mm eyepiece into the adapter and use a 2x teleconverter. you may also be able to use a barlow adapter. all said and done the setup works well.

It did work with one of my spotting scopes that I had laying around and the eyepiece fits better into the adapter.

Was going to try some astrophotography for the first time. This accessory would have been great had the t-mount I purchase fit my camera.

With the T-mount adapter for my Canon 50D this product did not work for my Celestron scope. Everything fit fine and the build was cheap, but worked, however no amount of fiddling would produce a focused image. I am now looking for other options. Very disappointed.

My camera was built in the 1970s, so it's much heavier than most new cameras. Although this adapter works as expected it doesn't feel very sturdy compared to the other adapter that replaces the visual back.

Overall the mount looks good and the price is great but, it is not as well machined as it should be. The threading for screwing it to a T-mount is not smooth. You have to force it to fully attach it to the mount.

I bought this as part of a setup to take pictures with my new 90mm refractor. This is my first attempt at astrophotography so I'm pleased with the simplicity of this adaptor. I especially like the fact that there are threads in the inside diameter of the 1.25" tube to accept filters such as for photographing the moon etc. On the larger end, it accepts short focal length eyepieces without interfering with the T-ring and DSLR. The set screw visible in the item picture is for holding the eyepiece in place so you don't have to worry about it slipping into the camera or moving out of focus. The only downside is that once the T-ring adaptor is screwed on, that set screw is pretty hard to get to. That's not such a big deal since the assembly has to be removed from the camera to remove the eyepiece anyway.

It is threaded to hold 1.25" filters, such as O-III, LPR or a grating for spectroscopy. The other end threads to a T-ring mount. It is rigid and works fine. It does what it is supposed to do, no less, no more. It does it well. The only thing that could be added is a set-screw groove make it harder to remove from the telescope focuser.
