All the mentioned ETX series telescopes include an internal optical-flat mirror to reflect light to the telescope's 90° astronomical observing position; in this position the telescope's image is upright but reversed. For terrestrial observing, the Meade #932 prism renders images that are both upright and laterally correct. The #932 prism is included as standard equipment with the spotting scope versions of the ETX telescopes.
This prism has a built-in magnification factor of 1.08x.

Comments about Meade #932 45-Degree Erect Image Prism (1.25"):
This Erecting prism works well to help convert my telescope to a terrestrial spotting scope. I use it to observe waterfowl and eagles who live by or visit a nearby lake. It does everything I expected.
