Comments about Shure M92E Turntable Cartridge:
I have a collection of 60's through 90's rock vinyl records. I use the cartridge just about everyday. For the price, there's no other product that can beat this one's sound quality and durability. It is easily exchangeable with other cartridges, and there is nothing I've found about it that I can complain about.

Comments about Shure M92E Turntable Cartridge:
I followed the instructions (not much detail) and used the adjustments on my turntable (anti skate, stylus pressure). Put on my old test record and tweaked a little more.
Played my new 180 gram audiophile LP. Wow, what a great sound. I know I could have bought a more expensive cartridge, and paid for professional setup, but why? Great price and a great product = value.

Comments about Shure M92E Turntable Cartridge:
Bought this cartridge to replace one that came with a used TT, also picked up a more expensive Stanton cartridge. For the price this Shure sounds really good, and IMO outperforms the Stanton P-mount when used on older records. I would recommend this to anyone wanting decent sounding cost effective cartridge.

Comments about Shure M92E Turntable Cartridge:
I recently purchased the M92E for a second turntable, a Harman Kardon T20. I had tried Shure's higher-end cartridge, the M97xe on this TT with great results, but returned it to my Dual. B&H's price on this item was excellent, [...].While perhaps lacking a bit of high frequency reproduction of the 97, this cartridge belies its low price. Typical of Shure, frequency response is nearly flat up to 18khz. Moreover, the sound is very smooth and rich, with low surface noise.I have compared this cartridge to an earlier Grado, an Acutec M12III, an AT3003 as well. It is not a forward cartridge, but eminently listenable, with low fatigue. Shure has chosen not to artificially enhance the higher end, and the result is a very pleasant cartridge, especially for the price. The M92e and B&H are a great combination!

Comments about Shure M92E Turntable Cartridge:
I purchased this cartridge to put into an old Technics linear tracking turntable. The original Ortofon that was in the table was a bit strident because of its high compliance. I was looking for a cartridge to tame those highs and thought I try this very inexpensive Shure. While I lost some sense of space and soundstaging with this mellow cartridge, this Shure is very listenable. It's not an uber dynamic or detailed cartridge but presents the music very pleasantly, like a good FM broadcast. Nothing fancy, but if you're looking for one to roll off highs and just listen to records, this is a nice choice. And for the money, well worth trying.

Comments about Shure M92E Turntable Cartridge:
This is the second M92E I've owned; it's replacing one that lasted a good decade or more. Does its job like a champ.
