The Meade #126 2x Barlow Lens is a special short-focus multicoated Barlow lens ideally suited for the Meade ETX-90, ETX-105, and ETX-125 telescopes, doubling the power of any eyepiece. Insert the Barlow into the eyepiece holder first, then follow with the eyepiece.

I use this short barlow in a 100/f6 refractor. The short size of the barlow makes it more stable and much easier to use than a long barlow. The barlow is multicoated and the optical performance is excellent. With this barlow I can use longer focal length eyepieces with longer eye releif and still yield high powers.
