Meade 12mm Modified Achromatic Eyepiece w/ Illuminated Reticle (1.25")
This special-purpose eyepieces includes a reticle with phosphorescent-etched crossline patterns, internally illuminated so the lines are clearly visible against dark skies. Four types of measuring scales are included; for measuring double star angular separations, position angles, planetary diameters and lunar crater diameters-as well as many other useful astronomical measurements. Also included is a doublecrossline scale for long-exposure photoguiding, making the Meade Astrometric Eyepiece truly an all-purpose illuminated reticle system.
The 3-element optical system yields sharp images across the full field of view, with a dioptric adjustment to allow sharp focus for all observers and a rubber eyecup.
