I've come to always keep a supply of these on-hand, as they are one of those 1,001 uses items. Of course they are perfect for hanging backgrounds on or from just about anything without resorting to heavy bulky A-clamps. But they are also strong enough to hang heavier items like padded moving quilts for quick/dirty acoustic treatments. With some of these, cable ties, velcro, and gaffer's tape about any project can be conquered.

Really like this style of clip. The allow me to easily put up and take down my muslins.
The only criticism is that the teeth on them "could' tear a lightweight backdrop.
Definitely recommend them.

I purchased the Pro Stands and 10'x12' Muslin backdrop. I put it all together and the backdrop hung up on the crossbar. I couldn't get the folds I wanted in the cloth for a decent look. I tried big alligator clips and even taping folds which was time consuming and very unprofessional looking. After purchasing these clips and hangers, the Muslin cloth now hangs naturally. I can draw the backdrop behind the subject and get the look I want with ease. They are small and extremely strong.
