This is great I was able to eliminate a light stand and now have the light hanging on the wall, which is great for my studio. The less on the floor the easier it is to work with kids in a studio.

I heard about this in Christopher Grey's book. My studio has open beams and I've attached several of these to the rafters. Terrific, extremely durable. As a dog photographer, anything that will keep stuff off the floor is great!! At one time I had an avenger stand with a long boom and a softbox attached to the end. During the shoot, I freaked out, What was I thinking, I could end up with a dead, electrocuted dog!!! Glad I stumbled on these.

It looks just like in the picture. It will allow me to have my flash unit attached to the ceiling, negating the need for an awkward light-stand and boom setup.

I like these better than the Mathews which have screw holes larger than a stud width. Great for recovering floor space in the studio.

worked great on location when shooting my short film. gives a practical way to create great overhead theactrical lighting any where. Or provide low angle lighting. Great for student film makers looking for an option to get away from tripod stands...
