I use these and the Pakon cubes (B&H # PASB40). The are more money than the cubes if you compare storage size, but I like the way I can stack them and store most of a reel into these. The only thing I don't like is that the lid isn't tight fitting like the Pakon cubes. If these were knocked off a shelf, the lids would fall off.

This slide holder is perfect for sending slides off to be scanned. It's inexpensive and sturdy. Would also be useful for storing groups of slides. The web site says it will hold 50 slides, but this must be for glass mounts. It will hold 140 or so cardboard mounts. Just right for a projector tray's worth.

I am storing my sister's old 35mm slides.
They are simple to use, strong and they offer great protection for the old slides. I should have bought more than I did!
