Has a small elastic compartment inside the top for whatever is desired.
Very durable.
My Tamron 17-50 lens fits perfectly inside with all caps in place -- fairly snug fit -- little room for movement. However, don't expect to get a lens and lens flare guard in there at the same time without some potential difficulties.
The zipper has an overlapping design which will help keep out the "bad guys".
The case has nice rigidity at the ends, while at the same time the appropriate amount of soft padding inside along the axial length to protect the lens.
Beware, that this product seems to be designed to fit into the Lowepro camera bag "system", so there is no carrying strap. I keep it in my bookbag, but it's just floating in there. With the Lowepro, I assume the velcro strap on it will lock it into position.

i use it to protcet my mid rang lenses
it was'nt a waste of money cause i know my lens is save now

The case is the perfect size for the nikon 60mm lense. It attaches to my belt easily and provides more protection than a normal "cloth pouch" without taking up much room or weighing very much. Additionally I can label the case with a silver "sharpie" marker and see easily which lense I'm grabbing.

I purchased this case for use a Tamron SP 60mm f/2.0 DI-II Macro lens. It works great without the lens hood attached, however, if the hood is attached it's a bit tighter of a fit. I also wanted the belt strap so I could attach it on my existing camera bag, which works great, the velcro is quite secure. I just put the hood in the bag to solve the tightness problem, so no real issues. Also works great for my 18-55mm lens as well.

I own a number of Lowepro lens cases in several sizes. The serve dual purposes for me. First use is using them to transport lens with the cases attached to a belt or a camera bag. Great way to carry along a couple more lenses than my bag will allow.
Second use is for storage. I have a couple lenses that are seasonal, so when they come out of my bag at the end of a season they go into a Lowepro lens case for storage.
These cases are very well made and very versatile.

Simple lens case, effective. Includes a small envelope-like thing for a lens filter. Sometimes I use this on its own, other times I attach it to my slingshot 100AW. (some of the lowepro cases are made to integrate with this lens case). Should have included a shoulder strap.

I bought this to hold my 18-55 nikon lens since my small camera bag is full of other accessories. This bag allows me to attach it to the side of my camera bag, effectively allowing me to bring more stuff out. It is sturdy and provide great protection for my lens.

Snug. Well-padded. Works as designed. Doesn't pair well with the surefire holster that I bought, but it wasn't designed for it either.
