The Crown Audio MA-2402 Power Amplifier is a high-quality, rack-mountable power amplifier with incredible sonic accuracy. This THX-certified unit offers two 1/4" phone and two XLR female input jacks on a factory-installed PIP2-FXQ module. It has two sets of color-coded 5-way binding post outputs, which can accept banana plugs, spade lugs, or bare wires.
Patented Grounded Bridge circuitry gives the MA-2402 very low distortion and outstanding reliability. The unit also features an Advanced Input/Output Comparator (IOC(R)), which alerts you if a distortion of 0.05% or greater is caused by the amplifier. Adverse conditions that would cause many amplifiers to fail, such as overheating, are taken in stride by the MA-2402 thanks to the patented Output Device Emulation Protection (ODEP) circuitry.
Other features rounding out the MA-2402 include selectable output modes, selectable sensitivities, detented level controls, and PIP2 compatibility. A ground-lift switch prevents hum from ground loops. Indicator LEDs keep you apprised of power, signal, and ODEP status. All of these features packed neatly into the stylish housing make the MA-2402 a great option for your audio amplification needs.
- Ultra-Low Distortion
- Patented Ground Bridge circuitry provides excellent reliability with very low distortion. An advanced Input/Output Comparator (IOC(R)) alerts you if the amplifier causes any distortion of 0.05% or more.
- ODEP Protection
- Output Device Emulation Protection (ODEP) protects the amplifier under adverse conditions, such as overheating, that cause other amplifiers to fail. Front-panel LEDs show each channel's ODEP status.
- PIP2 Compatible
- The MA-2402 accommodates PIP2 accessories for customization of the amplifier.
