The good news:The bag is very well made, is rainproof and has nice padding. There is plenty of room for a tripod and much, much more! The bad news:I purchased this bag for my Gitzo 3540 tripod and RRS BH-55 Ball head. This bag is huge. It could easily carry three 3540's with room to spare.I travel a lot so I need a tripod bag that fits my tripod better. I returned this bag and purchased the Think Tank Big Bazooka . It fits my Gitzo 3540 perfectly has plenty of padding and is about 1/3 the price of the Gitzo bag.
