The Bescor MM-9NC is a small and lightweight high performance Starved Electrolyte (Lead Acid) battery. The MM-9 is memory free and when properly maintained will offer a consistent run time over the life of the battery. A convenient shoulder strap is standard in addition to a sewn-in belt loop.

Comments about Bescor MM-9NC Starved Electrolyte Battery:
Same battery as you would find in a UPS with a nice case, carrying strap, and cigarette lighter outlet. Reliable but heavy lead acid design. LiFePO4 would be a nice alternative to lead acid to save on weight. Extra cost would be worth it when carrying light all day long (lead acid batteries are $10-$30, LiFePO4 range from $100-$150).
