Bescor BES-018XLRN Shoulder Pack Lead-Acid Battery - 12 VDC, 18 amp hours, Cigarette Connector, without Charger
The Bescor BES-018XLRN is a high performance Starved Electrolyte (Lead Acid) battery. The BES-018 is memory free and when properly maintained will offer a consistent run time over the life of the battery. A convenient shoulder strap is standard in addition to a sewn-in belt loop. This model does not come with a charger.

I purchased this as a kit with the automatic charger to power a Lowel ID-Light for wedding receptions. On paper this sounds good, but the battery arrived almost empty (Bescor states that batteries should also be stored 90% full and ship that way). In addition, when I went to charge the battery the automatic charger never turned to green and stopped charging.[...] Bescor batteries are good for the price but this is not the first time I have heard of quality issues with this brand.

I owned this battery pack for 2 months and it worked greatduring that time and all of a sudden it just stopped accepting acharge. I was using it 3 to 4 times a week so I wasn'tabusing it and we charged it as I was told by the folks atBescor so don't know what happened.

Problems Encountered: Only lasted 2 months then stopped taking a charge. Mightwant to consider a different brand if you are to be using itprofessionally.
