I have one envelope for each of my filters. I use these envelopes with the three filter pouch which I got with the LEE DSLR starter kit and by doing so, I was able to fit two filters into one pocket without contact between the filters. The filters fit snugly in the envelopes which provide added protection from scratching and allows for easy inserting and removing of filters. For graduated ND filters, the top of the filter with the filter identifier slightly sticks out which is convenient when looking for the filter you want to use, and can be covered by folding over the flap.
These envelopes, coupled with the pouch, offer good protection to my filters in my camera bag.

The product MOSTLY does what I bought it for - providing reasonable protection to the surface of the filter without the ridiculous bulk of the default Lee filter pockets. However, it is too short and does not cover the filter completely lengthwise, and it is more narrow than needed making it somewhat of a pain to insert and remove the filter. It does what it is supposed to, but not effortlessly and is not a good value. [...]
