Kata RC-14 (CRC-14) Compact Rain Cover - for JVC GY-300, Panasonic AG-DVX100, Sony DCR-VX2000 and DSR-PD150 Camcorders
The Kata CRC-14 (RC-14) Compact Rain Cover provides protection against dirt, dust and sudden showers. The RC-14 is made for camcorders such as; JVC GY-300, Panasonic AG-DVX100, Sony DSR-PD150 and similar camera models. The cover is made from weatherproof polypropylene and provides a quick easy set-up even when mounted on a tripod. You can work with the LCD monitor with the rain cover on. The RC-14 has pull tight cords and Touch Fastener along the rim for quick access and closure. It has a clear vinyl window to view control panel and screen.
Comfortable cone shaped opening is roomy when camcorder is hand-held. Modular removable sleeves enable the extraction of shoulder strap, wireless antenna, viewfinder etc. A flexible sleeve protects the viewfinder and a lens hood covers the lens. There is also a flexible sleeve to cover the microphone. Roomy bottom opening provides easy access and allows hands to move comfortably under the Rain Cover. An accessory SPS Sungun Protective Sleeve can be easily added and adjusted.

This rain cover works perfectly for the panasonic dvx and hvx cameras (similar in design). The cover extends very low, so your tripod head won't get wet either. There are straps throughout the cover so you get a tight seal around your lens and your eye piece. It is spacious enough that your viewfinder can remain open throughout your shoot.

The rain cover has velcro on the top and bottom. Accessories can be added above, extending the height, and your wrist can be enclosed within while holding the camera from below.

I actually used it with the Panasonic AF100 camera, Although it says made for Sony, it actually works well with various other camera, it feels secure and kept my camera free of rain, dew and blowing sand. I would recommend this rain cover to anyone with a 4-7 lb camera

I used the cover to shoot a story about a snow storm... It is really good. You just have to be, of course, paying attention to the lens, because the rest will be very well protected.
The great thing about it is that it really protects the camera.
The only thing that I thought would be better is the fact that, at least for my camera HMC150, working with the LCD under the cover is very difficult... You can't rely because of the plastic. However, I used the viewfinder and made really great shots.
I really recommend this cover.
